Gap analysis is a structured method used to examine the difference between two deferent states of a process, system, or performance indicator. This approach enables teams to clearly understand where they stand today, where they need to be, and what actions are required to bridge the gap.

This Gap Analysis Register provides a clear structure for documenting customer-driven problems, current conditions, future expectations, the magnitude of the gaps, and the necessary remedies to close them. By beginning with the Voice of the Customer (VOC), this approach ensures that gaps are first understood from the customer’s perspective, helping teams focus on improvements that directly address customer needs and expectations.
